My New Blog

I can never decide which is my favorite time of year here in rural Vermont.

Everytime we make a transition I am sad to see that season end. However, it only takes me moments to adjust and get into the new season and my favorite activites for that season.

Wintertime makes me feel alive! It is difficult to go outside on a day where it is only ten degrees and not feel alive. It wakes you up! Clothing and how you wear it are especially important. Dress well and in layers, and you should be fine.

HIKE, SKI, SKATE... have fun this promises to be a wonderful season.

It appears that at last there may be a silver lining around the cloud of bad news that has pounded the real estate markets for months now. Interest rates are going down and this means it will cost you less to buy that house you are hoping to purchase.

If you have some cash and especially if your credit is in the excellent category you stand the chance of getting the lowest interest rate possible at a time when real estate inventories are  higher than usual. It is truly a buyers market. One that we haven't seen in years.

So enjoy the up and coming holidays and if you are planning a move in 2009, start early and take andvatage of some great opportunities.
